Bamberger, Executive Director, MathWorks and Professor of Mathematics at Towson University, to present Strategies to Make Sense of Mathematics for Students Who Learn Differently. This free seminar will be held on The Summit School’s campus at 664 East Central Ave., Edgewater, MD 21037.
My child can read, but why is math so difficult? This research-based session will discuss learning characteristics of students who are challenged in math. Practical strategies and activities will be included that enable students to remember and apply mathematical principles to the application of math concepts.
