Man Charged In Glen Burnie StabbingAnne Arundel County police said they’ve arrested a man in connection with a stabbing in Glen Burnie on Tuesday. Police were called to Mary Lane and Oakwood Road about 6 p.m. after getting reports of a stabbing.The 55-year-old victim told police that he’d been stabbed in the stomach by someone he didn’t know during a fight.Officers arrested the suspect, identified as Chadwick Brown, 38, of Owings Mills, at the scene.The victim was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

2 Killed In Separate Anne Arundel Crashes. Anne Arundel County police are investigating two bad crashes, both of which were fatal.Police were called at about 7:15 p.m. Monday to Route 100 near Route 97 North in Glen Burnie for a three-vehicle crash.Police said a BMW driven by Adam Covington, 25, of Springfield, Va., cut several other vehicles off as it merged into a lane on Route 100, hitting a truck and then a car, which went off the roadway and overturned.

Instructor Pleads Guilty To Sex Assault Of Minor. A former rock climbing instructor has pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of a minor he used to teach.Michael Lyons, 31, of Rockville, was charged in June after the 14-year-old victim said he engaged in sex acts with her at the Earth Treks facility where Lyons worked in Columbia.Lyons pleaded guilty Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court.He will be sentenced in February and could get up to 25 years in prison, but the state is expected to recommend 15 years, eight of which would be suspended.

Consumer Advocates Warn Of Fake Ravens Gear.  Consumer advocates are warning holiday shoppers interested in picking up Baltimore Ravens gear to make sure that the items are authentic and not cheap knock-offs.Tricia Storke, of Timonium, said she spent $200 on jerseys for her daughter and her husband on a website advertising authentic Ravens gear.But the next day, she got an email and knew something was not right.”It was grammatically incorrect,” she said. “There were all kind of things that shouldn’t have been in place. And then it was, ‘Your sale didn’t go through, but you could pay us through PayPal.’ And then the salutation was someone that was just a first-name basis.
