During the upcoming long weekend, many municipal services will may be closed. Here are the closures for both Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis.
Anne Arundel County
Friday, December 23
All County offices are closed for a service reduction day. Animal Control is closed. Libraries are closed. Regional parks are open. Senior Centers are closed. Landfill and Convenience Centers are closed. Curbside collection will occur as scheduled.
Saturday, December 24
County offices are closed on Christmas Eve. Libraries are closed. Regional parks are open. Animal Control is open. Senior centers are closed. Landfill and Convenience Centers are closed. No curbside collection.
Sunday, December 25
County offices are closed on Christmas Day. Libraries are closed. Regional parks are closed. Senior Centers are closed through January 2, 2012. Animal Control is closed. Landfill and Convenience Centers are closed. No curbside collection.
Monday, December 26
County offices are closed for the Christmas holiday. Libraries are closed. Regional parks are open. Senior Centers are closed through January 2, 2012. Animal Control is closed. Landfill and Convenience Centers are closed. Curbside collection will occur as scheduled.
City of Annapolis
Friday, December 23
City offices are closed for a furlough day.
- There will be no refuse or yard waste collection
- Annapolis Transit will run on a regular schedule.
- Recycling will be picked up.
Saturday, December 24
- Annapolis Transit will run on a regular schedule.
Sunday, December 25
- There will be no Annapolis Transit service, including the Circulator trolley.
- The Department of Transportation will be closed.
Monday, December 26:
- All City government offices are closed for the Christmas Holiday.
- There will be no refuse or yard waste collection.
- Annapolis Transit will operate on a regular schedule.
- Recycling will be picked up.
Please note that those normally scheduled for yard waste on Friday, Dec. 23 or Monday, Dec. 26 will receive collection on Wednesday, December 28.
