Rawlings-Blake Elected To First Term. Approximately 6 percent of Baltimore City’s population voted incumbent Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to her first full term nearly two years after her predecessor stepped down amid scandal.After guiding the city through crises ranging from snowstorms to budget gaps in her assumed role, Rawlings-Blake’s win on Tuesday earns her the post in her own right.

Currie Fond Not Guilty In Corruption Case. Maryland State Sen. Ulysses Currie has been cleared of all charges in a federal corruption case that unfolded over the last several weeks in Baltimore.11 News reporter David Collins said Currie was found not guilty of conspiracy and extortion. He said Currie showed no obvious reaction to the verdict, which was announced about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Love’s Medical Records Released To Attorneys. Cockeysville native Yeardley Love’s medical records have been released to the lawyers of her accused killer.A judge granted permission during a hearing in Virginia after George Huguely’s attorneys claimed a mix of alcohol and prescription drugs caused the University of Virginia student’s death and not their client.Love died in an off-campus apartment in Charlottesville last year.A trial for Huguely is set for February.
