Anne Arundel Police Discover Body In Hanover. Anne Arundel County police said a body was found Sunday afternoon near a business park in Hanover.Officers said a man’s body was found about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Race Road and Park Circle Drive near the Parkway Center Business Park, west of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.Police could not say how the victim died. Detectives said they were still processing the scene for evidence.

Abandoned Puppy Rescued From Well. The Humane Society of Washington County said calls from a concerned neighbor led to them finding an abandoned puppy that was stranded in a 5-foot-deep well.The well was behind a house in Big Pool. The Humane Society said someone who lived nearby called because they heard a puppy crying but couldn’t find it.

Ravens Rally 92 Yards To Sweep Steelers. Torrey Smith wasn’t going to let the game-winning touchdown slip through his hands twice.Five plays after a sure scoring strike tipped off his fingers, the Baltimore rookie receiver held onto a 26-yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco with 8 seconds remaining to lift the Ravens past the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-20 on Sunday night.

Nationwide EAS Test Scheduled For November 9th. On November 9th, at approximately 2:00 PM Eastern, WBAL will participate in a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System. It will be heard on the radio and seen on broadcast, cable, and satellite TV.UPDATE: This test is now scheduled to last for approximately one minute and return listeners and viewers back to regularly scheduled programming.The National EAS is a public alert and warning system that enables the President of the United States to address the American public during extreme emergencies.
