Gambrills Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges. Maryland State Police said an Anne Arundel County man was arrested in connection with the distribution of child pornography. Authorities said Robert Hudson, 24, of Gambrills, was charged with two counts of distributing child pornography. State Police said a trooper who was conducting an undercover operation on a file-sharing network known for distributing child pornography engaged in a chat with Hudson.

Armored Vehicle Overturns In Route 100 Crash. Police said two people were trapped inside an armored vehicle after a Wednesday afternoon crash that closed westbound Route 100.The crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m.Police said a Honda CRV and an armored car were involved in the crash and that the armored car rolled over on Route 100 westbound on the Interstate 97 overpass.Fire personnel responded to remove the victims from the vehicle.

Residents Warned About Fire Inspection Scam. County Executive John Leopold has warned residents about a scam targeting seniors in which people are posing as fire department representatives.”If you receive a letter in the mail advising you of a home inspection by the fire department, please contact the police and be aware that the letter is a fake,” Leopold said. “We are concerned that these letters are being sent with criminal intent to rob or harm residents,” he said.

Suspect Sketches Released In Assault Of Teen. Police detectives are looking for help identifying two men connected to a reported sexual offense in Woodlawn.The Baltimore County Police Department said the incident occurred about 3 p.m. on Nov. 1. On Wednesday, they released suspect sketches as part of the investigation. A 15-year-old girl told police she was walking in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive when four men in a teal-colored, four-door sedan approached her.Two of the men were wearing ski masks, police said. One of the unmasked men engaged the girl in conversation, then displayed a handgun and forced her into the front seat, police said.
