Giordano Loses Lawyer In Aruba. The Maryland man at the center of the Robyn Gardner disappearance in Aruba is looking for a new attorney.Aruban attorney Michael Lopez confirmed he is no longer representing Gary Giordano, who is from Gaithersburg.Lopez has been trying to get Giordano released from the country, but his latest appeal was denied last month.

Bank Error Balloons Mortgage Payment. A Harford Countywoman now owes double and is struggling to save her home as a result of a bank error.Although comfortable in her kitchen, Donna Roberts finds it distressing to talk about her home and what she’s doing to save it.”I’m not looking to be put on television. I’m not looking for attention,” she said. Out of frustration she agreed to share her fight with WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team reporter Barry Simms. Like other Maryland homeowners, Roberts qualified for and received a loan modification but she remains in serious jeopardy of foreclosure.

Man Sought In Jewelry Store Heist. Police are looking for information on the person who robbed a jewelry store at Marley Station Mall.Authorities said the man walked into the Kay Jewelers in the mall on Oct. 27 and asked to look at a men’s gold necklace.When the clerk brought the necklace out, the man took it and ran, police said. The necklace is valued at $7,000.A surveillance image of the man was released by police on Thursday.

Runner Survives marathon Scare, Receives Medal. For Bob Pohl, running has been a way of life. He has taken part in 16 marathons.During last month’s Baltimore Running Festival, Pohl was about to cross the finish line of the half-marathon when he collapsed and his heart stopped beating. On Thursday, he got a chance to say thank you to those who helped save his life.He was only yards from the finish line during the Oct. 15 event when he collapsed, he told 11 News reporter Rob Roblin.“I fell to the ground about 200 feet from the finish, and a Baltimore City police officer started to (perform) CPR on me,” Pohl said Thursday.
