Community Mourns Arundel Teens Killed In Crash. Two vigils held over the weekend mourned the loss of two teens killed in a crash Friday night in Elkridge.Police said speed may have been one of the factors in the crash in the 6200 block of Lawyers Hill Road that killed Jeffrey Ryan Giles, 19, and Jonathon Lloyd Deckman, 18. During a Saturday vigil, Giles’ parents said they forgive the driver, Dale Kirk Audet II, 18, who police said lost control of the vehicle the group was riding in, crossed the median and struck a tree. “I know that they are already talking about pressing charges,” said David Cole, Giles’ stepfather. “We have no interest (in charges), and that young man is going to pay in his mind for the rest of his life. We can just deal with that.”

3 Hurt In Pasadena House Fire. Officials said three people, including two firefighters, were hurt during a two-alarm house fire in Anne Arundel County on Sunday.Crews said they responded to a home in the 800 block of Riverside Drive in Pasadena just after 5 p.m. As crews were battling the fire, they said it escalated to two alarms.A 66-year-old woman, who was the homeowner, and two firefighters were taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Woman Steps Off BWI Flight, Has Baby. There was a special arrival at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport on Sunday, but it wasn’t a flight — it was a baby.Airport officials said a woman went into labor about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, shortly after stepping off an incoming flight.A Maryland Transportation Authority police officer helped the woman deliver a baby boy on the floor of a restroom in the airport’s D concourse, 11 News learned.The mother and the healthy baby were taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center and are said to be doing fine.

President, First Lady Sit Courtside At Towson Game. President Barack Obama watched brother-in-law Craig Robinson guide Oregon State to a 66-46 victory over Towson on Saturday.The crowd inside Towson’s arena erupted in cheers as Obama and first lady Michelle Obama entered and shook fans’ hands as they made their way to a pair of courtside seats.Daughters Malia and Sasha sat in the first row of the bleachers. Also attending were Obama’s mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, and Education Secretary Arne Duncan, a former professional basketball player and friend of Obama’s from Chicago.
