The following email was received this weekend in response to the tragic bicycle accident late last week in Millersville.
I would like to thank Fire Fighter Thorpe, an off duty fireman who stopped and took control of the scene until paramedics and police arrived. The incredible and calm manner in which he tended to the victim serves as a reminder of the terrible things these first responders deal with each day with such grace. As one of the first on the scene,I didn’t get to thank him and would like to do so publicly. Thank you Firefighter Thorpe.
