Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Calendar Committee is currently accepting public input on the calendars for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years. The committee, made up of school system personnel as well as parents and representatives of employee bargaining units, will submit recommendations on the calendars to Superintendent Kevin Maxwell later this year. Dr. Maxwell will then forward his recommendations to the Board for action.
In an effort to allow parents to plan for out-of-town trips, etc., the Board will, for the first time, entertain a two-year calendar this year. Previously, the Board has adopted a calendar for the succeeding year only.
Please submit any input here. Input will be accepted through October 21.
