Anne Arundel School Custodian Charged With Indecent Exposure. An Anne Arundel County school custodian was arrested Friday and charged with indecent exposure.The incident happened about 6 p.m Friday along Marydell Road in Pasadena, near George Fox Middle School, where Jason Beatty is employed as a custodian.Police said Beatty was not fully clothed and looking into a 25-year-old woman’s home and staring at her while engaged in a lewd act.

New Transportation Taxes, Fees Head To Lawmakers. Proposed taxes and fees aimed at raising more than $800 million in new transportation revenue annually in Maryland headed toward the Legislature and Gov. Martin O’Malley on Tuesday, as a state commission formally approved a plan to increase the state’s gas tax by 15 cents over three years. The recommendations by the Blue Ribbon Commission on Maryland Transportation Funding put the proposal on track for a revved-up debate in the General Assembly’s legislative session that begins in January.

Occupy Baltimore Protesters Asked To Scale Back. Protesters with Occupy Baltimore said city officials want them to scale back their presence at a downtown plaza.A copy of the city’s response to Occupy Baltimore’s permit obtained by The Associated Press shows that starting Wednesday, only two people will be allowed to stay overnight as night watchmen in one tent in McKeldin Square by the Inner Harbor.Everyone else must leave by midnight.The city will provide 10 shelters, but it is restricting the group to a smaller space in the plaza than they are already occupying.

CDC Pushes For HPV Vaccine For Boys.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Tuesday it recommends that boys get routinely vaccinated against the HPV virus.The HPV vaccine was first recommended for girls by the CDC several years ago. HPV is best known for causing cervical cancer, and doctors said it can also cause penile, anal and throat cancer. “HPV is spread by skin-to-skin contact, so intercourse is one of the ways it can be spread. But any skin-to-skin contact can potentially do that,” said Dr. Christine O’Connor, director of adolescent gynecology at the Weinberg Center for Women’s Health.
