All Children’s Chorus Announces Schedule

The All Children’s Chorus of Annapolis (ACCA) is thrilled to begin their 11th season this fall. Children from Anne Arundel, Prince Georges and Baltimore counties will be participating in this year’s ensembles.

Planned performances for the 2011-12 include:

*Monday, November 14th, 5:30 pm; Lord & Taylor Holiday Event at the Annapolis Mall.  ACCA will be a part of a world premiere of a new song by composers Jim Papoulis and Fransisco Nunez.  Children’s Choruses across the country participate at various Lord & Taylor locations.
*Saturday, November 27th, 6:00-8:00 pm, Park Place Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Come join us to sing carols, listen to holiday music, and enjoy the festivities at the Plaza on West Street by Fido’s and Carpaccio’s restaurants.

*Saturday, December 3rd, 2:00 pm; Kinderkonzert with Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra, Maryland Hall, Annapolis, MD.  Join ACCA and CYSO for a combined holiday concert.

*Saturday, December 3rd, 7:30pm – State House by Candlelight, Annapolis, MD.  Join ACCA for a holiday concert at the beautiful State House by Candlelight, holiday concert at the beautiful Maryland State House in downtown Annapolis.

Sunday, December 11th, 3:00 pm; ACCA Holiday Concert and Community Carol-Sing, Calvary United Methodist Church, Rowe Blvd.  Annapolis, MD.  Annual Holiday Concert featuring all 3 ACCA choirs and a Community Carol Sing-along.  Tickets – $7 for adults and $5 for children.  Tickets available online at www.acca.ticketleap.com.

*Monday, February 11th, 7:00 pm; Young Voices of Maryland Festival featuring the All Children’s Chorus of Annapolis, the Glorystar Children’s Chorus, the Maryland State Boychoir and the Frederick Children’s Chorus.  Singers from across Maryland come together to share their music with one another.  This year’s festival is hosted by the Frederick Children’s Chorus in Frederick, MD.

*Sunday, April 22nd; 1:00-3:00 pm – Earth, Water & Faith Festival; Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole.

Saturday, May 12th; Let’s Celebrate! ACCA’s Final Concert & Reception. Tickets available online and at the door: www.acca.ticketleap.com Location TBD.

*Saturday, May 19th; 10:00 am–1:00 pm – Let Liberty Ring, a special event honoring the Liberty Bell at Trinity United Methodist Church, West St. Annapolis, MD.

All Children’s Chorus of Annapolis is an auditioned community chorus for singers age 7-18, and is comprised of 3 ensembles: Training Chorus (2nd-5th grade), Treble Chorus (4th-7th grade), and Chamber Singers (8th-12th grade).   Rehearsals are held weekly (Wednesday) after school at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rowe Blvd., Annapolis.

ACCA is a non-profit organization, partially funded by the Cultural Arts Foundation of Anne Arundel County, Maryland State Arts Council, and City of Annapolis.
