Officials with Westfield Annapolis are delighted to announce the launch of WFamily KidCare, a complimentary new family amenity available exclusively at Westfield Annapolis. Opening at 10am on Wednesday, November 2, shoppers at Westfield Annapolis can relax with peace of mind while shopping and dining, knowing their children aged three to nine are well looked after and having their own supervised fun.
Located on level one in the Pottery Barn Court adjacent to the new Play Space, WFamily KidCare is a colorful, fully contained space filled with kid-sized comforts and loads of activities. From interactive play with a Wii to storybooks, puzzles to arts and crafts, little ones will love their time spent at WFamily KidCare.
“We understand the demands put on families and are delighted to offer parents a complimentary, worry-free two hour window when they can shop, enjoy lunch or a visit to one of our salons,” says Christiann Wallace, marketing director for Westfield Annapolis.
To celebrate the opening of WFamily KidCare, the center is holding a contest from November 2 through December 15 asking shoppers “What will you do with YOUR two hours?” Entries will be eligible to win a fantastic Shopping Day Out including transportation for the winner and three friends, exclusive swag bags, a $500 shopping spree along with a private shopping concierge, and lunch at the winner’s choice of one of Westfield Annapolis’ restaurants. To enter and for more information visit Westifeld.com/Annapolis or Facebook.com/WestfieldAnnapolis or see the Westfield Concierge located near Lord & Taylor.
Once a month WFamily KidCare will host special guests including storytellers, representatives from area attractions such as the National Aquarium and more. In addition, Westfield Annapolis will offer special “Date Night” and “Girls Day Out” packages combining the convenience of WFamily KidCare with special offers from center retailers, restaurants and attractions.
Westfield Annapolis is the first in Westfield Group’s U.S. portfolio of 55 centers to offer this new service, an extension of the very successful WFamily program. “We highly value our family shoppers and offering WFamily KidCare, along with all of our other family amenities, underscores our appreciation of these customers, as well as our keen focus on providing the ultimate in shopping convenience,” says Wallace.
Beginning Wednesday, November 2, WFamily KidCare will be open during all center hours: Monday through Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm. The service is available on a first come / first serve basis for children from three to nine years of age who are fully potty-trained. The maximum capacity is 15. WFamily KidCare is owned and managed by Kids Court Maryland, a licensed child care provider.
