The Anne Arundel County Commission for Women announces its fall recruitment. If you’re looking for a new place to invest your time and talents and would like to help address the issues that are important to women and families, the Anne Arundel County Commission for Women has a place for you.

The 16-member Commission represents a diverse cross section of our county. Along with other groups, public and private, and county government, we are committed to working to improve and promote the welfare, quality of life and equality of women. Our focus is in the areas of health, education, economics and family safety. If you have a passion for making a difference, we’d like to hear from you.

Members are appointed by the County Executive to serve a two-year term and are expected to attend monthly meetings, ad hoc committee and working group sessions, a one-day annual planning retreat and Commission-sponsored events.

Interested women are invited to visit our web site at www.aacountycw.org and to forward a letter of interest and resume to The Anne Arundel Commission for Women, P.O. Box 59 Gambrills, MD 21054 or via email to [email protected].
