At the 2011 Mardi Gras Masquerade Recognition nearly 60 volunteers were honored for their service in the Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) at the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities. The event was held Sept. 9 at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park, with games and food. Guests came attired in their best party attire and wore their handmade masks.
