Edgewater Martial Arts School Owner Arrested At Airport. A Maryland man wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl was arrested at Dulles Airport in Virginia on Tuesday.Police said Justin Ray Dutcher, 25, of Chester, turned himself in after returning on a flight from Turkey.Police said Dutcher, who owned a martial arts academy, engaged in a sexual relationship with a girl he met while teaching.He had been free on bond and scheduled for trial in August.Dutcher’s lawyer said his client panicked and fled the country, but changed his mind and returned to face the charges.

MD Helps Shape National Science Curriculum.  America’s public schools students continue to lag internationally when it comes to science education, according to 11 News education reporter Tim Tooten.But, as Tooten said Tuesday, Maryland is one of 20 states helping to develop a new set of national science lessons.The changes will affect K-12 education, and the idea is to help students become more competitive on a global playing field.
Lottery Posts Wrong Winning Numbers, Anne Arundel Woman Not Happy.  An Anne Arundel County woman wants the Maryland Lottery to pay what she said was a winning lottery ticket from the Saturday evening Pick 4 drawing.Donna Allen of Chesapeake Beach told WBAL 1090 AM that when she went online to check her numbers after the 8 p.m. drawing, her numbers matched. But Allen said her smiles turned to frowns Sunday when she went to cash the ticket. Allen said a lottery machine said she did not have the winning numbers.Carole Everett with the Maryland Lottery told WBAL that there was a human error that involved the reporting of the Pick 4 number on the lottery’s website. The correction, she said, was made five minutes later.
Lawsuit: Employment Denied To Returning Army Reservist. A local Army reservist is suing both the city of Baltimore and its state’s attorney’s office, claiming he was not allowed his job back after returning from active duty.Capt. Andrew Gross of Columbia claimed the city let him down, and now he wants back wages, according to 11 News reporter Lowell Melser. Gross was not available to speak with 11 News on Tuesday because he is back on active duty at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. His attorney, Steven Silverman, said Gross has been in a see-saw battle with the city the last couple years concerning his former job as a city prosecutor.
