Annapolis Police Chief Michael Pristoop said, “Any murder is regretful. But the victim in this case was no stranger to police. He lived a life checkered by confrontations with the law and violent acts. The City’s crime has significantly decreased over the past few years, and to everyone’s benefit. But for those who choose to live outside the law, the rewards aren’t always quite as high.”

Annapolis experienced four homicides in 2010. This is the first homicide in Annapolis this year.
