Pascal Center Announces Schedule For August

The Pascal Senior Activity Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie, announces various activities for the month of August. For information, call 410-222-6680.

  • A representative from the Maryland Insurance Administration’s speakers’ bureau will give a program entitled “An Overview of Auto, Home, Life and Health Insurance for Empty Nesters and Seniors” at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at the Pascal Senior Activity Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie. The speaker will help consumers to understand their policies, provide unbiased information and answer questions about coverage issues. The public can attend. Call 410-222-6680 for information.
  • Edith Harrison, district manager for financial services for the county Department of Social Services, will be the guest speaker at a meeting of the Kinship Caregiver Support Group from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Pascal Senior Activity Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie. Kinship Care is defined as full-time care, nurturing and protection of children by relatives or other adults who have a family relationship to a child.   • Frank and Trish Curreri of Vintage Entertainment will perform a musical tribute to two American legends, Peggy Lee and Frank Sinatra, at the Pascal Senior Activity Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie. The show time is 12:30 p.m. Aug. 11. For information, call 410-222-6680.

  • The Pascal Senior Activity Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie, will have a patio party with Tim Amann at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 19. The afternoon of music and dance will be held on the center’s back patio, weather permitting. Light refreshments will be served. For information, call 410-222-6680.
