Navy Fan Fest August 6th

Navy fans are invited to the 2011 Navy Football Fan Fest/Media Day on Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Players on the offensive side of the football will be signing autographs on the blue side (press box side) concourse from 10:00-10:45 a.m., while the defensive players are down on the field interacting with the fans and taking photos.  The defensive players will sign autographs on the blue side concourse from 10:45-11:30 a.m., while the offensive players are down on the field.  Please note the plebes will not be in attendance at Fan Fest/Media Day.

Fan Fest activities will include interactive inflatable games, giveaways and live music. The first 250 kids will receive a free t-shirt. Fans attending should enter the parking lot through Gate 5 off of Taylor Avenue and enter the stadium on the Blue or press box side at Gates A/B. There will be a $5 charge for parking and admission to the event is free.

The 2011 Navy football team will report to camp on Tuesday, August 2 and the first practice is Wednesday, August 3.  The annual Blue-Gold BBQ and Scrimmage, which will be open only to those with tickets to the event, will take place on Saturday, August 13 at 12 noon.   To become a member of Blue & Gold go to:  http://www.navysports.com/trads/navy-blue-gold.html
