Corettta Scott King GardenAn elegant party (hats are encouraged!) celebrating the opening of the garden tribute to the memory of the late civil rights activist Coretta Scott King will be held on the Sojourner Douglass College Campus in Edgewater on July 24th.

The widow of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr, called by many the first lady of the Civil Rights Movement is the namesake of a beautiful garden on the school’s campus. The event is a fundraiser for the Martin Luther King Dinner.

WHEN: 5 pm to 7 pm Sunday, July 24, 2011
