College 101 Offered At AACC

If fears of going to college, returning to college or financing a college education have held you back, make time to attend one of two free August “College 101” sessions at Anne Arundel Community College.

This new open house program for adults presents the facts and child care is available on site. Choose from two dates and locations: 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at AACC at Arundel Mills lecture hall in Hanover or 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Center for Applied Learning and Technology Room 100 on the Arnold campus.

The program at AACC at Arundel Mills has a military/veteran focus. Both programs include a keynote address and your choice of breakout sessions on topics such as admissions, advising, financial aid, credit for prior learning, accelerated career training, online classes, child care options and more! The AACC at Arundel Mills program includes breakout sessions on transitioning from the military to school to work, federal hiring practices and veterans’ preference and entitlements.
