3 Alarm Fire In Lothian Warehouse

County firefighters were dispatched to 1325 Mt. Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian this morning for a fire in the the old Tobacco Warehouse which involved several trailers.  A second alarm was struck at 5:00am which called for mutual aid from Prince George’s and Calvert County. A third alarm was struck shortly after.

The three-alarm fire damaged two tractor-trailers and a warehouse that formerly housed tobacco, fire officials said. 85 firefighters from three counties 90 minutes to bring the fire under control.  Crews remain ion the scene to insure that the fire is extinguished and to prevent a rekindle.
