2 Men Sought in Crofton Abduction Attempt. Police in Anne Arundel County are looking for two men in connection with the attempted abduction of a jogger Monday evening in Crofton.A 29-year-old woman told police she was jogging in the 2100 block of Priest Bridge Drive around 7 p.m. Monday when she heard a man following her. The victim said the man eventually caught up with her and asked for directions to the post office.Police said as the victim was giving him directions, another man pulled up beside her in a gray car and asked the same question.

U2 360° Tour To Rock M&T Bank Stadium. Even with the NFL lockout, something is buzzing at M & T Bank Stadium. The U2 360° tour lands Wednesday on a 150-foot-tall stage that resembles an alien spacecraft.According to organizers of the concert, the U2 360° Tour is the most expensive production to ever tour the world. U2 360° tour director Craig Evans doesn’t want any of the thousands expected to attend to be intimated by the size of the stage. In fact, it’s designed to make the setting seem more intimate, according to Evans.

Report: No Football Means $40M Loss For Maryland. A study has found Maryland would lose an estimated $40 million in tax revenues if the NFL season is canceled because of a labor dispute.The study was released Tuesday by the state comptroller’s office, which is describing it as the first of its kind in the nation.Maryland is home to two NFL teams, the Baltimore Ravens, who play in Baltimore, and the Washington Redskins, who play in Landover.Comptroller Peter Franchot asked for the study so Maryland officials could understand the impact a lost football season would have on the state’s revenue estimates.

Teacher, Principal Evaluation Program Moves Forward. Maryland’s teachers and principals will be graded on their classroom and school performance as part of a new educator evaluation system approved by the state. As 11 News education reporter Tim Tooten said Tuesday, there have been a lot of conversations about who should be evaluated, and how. The state has a plan on the table, but it’s not getting high marks from teachers, Tooten reported.”Literally, this is hot off the press from our meeting (Monday),” said outgoing state Superintendent Nancy Grasmick.
