First Sunday Arts Kicks Off July With Free Day Of Entertainment

Sunday July 3rd the First Sunday Arts Festival returns to Calvert and West Streets in downtown Annapolis from noon to 5pm. This monthly free summer festival is expected to bring around 7,000 people to downtown Annapolis to be immersed in the arts.

The Streets and parks along Calvert and West streets at the July 3rd festival are filled with over 100 artisans, live music performances, magic shows, street performers and an international selection of outdoor cafes. The festival starts on Calvert street next to the Whitemore and Gotts parking garages and wraps around the block to West Street ending at Church Circle.

The entertainment schedule for the day includes Ashley Forrest from 1-3pm at Whitemore Park on  Calvert Street. Having just completed recording the core of her debut country album titled CAN’T WAIT, 22-year old singer and songwriter Ashley Forrest has been performing throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
