Baysox To Host Scout Night Camp Out

The Bowie Baysox announce today the 13th annual Scout Night Camp Out at Prince George’s Stadium Friday, June 24, as the Baysox take on the Binghamton Mets at 7:05 p.m.  The event is presented by Busch Gardens Williamsburg and features discounted tickets and food vouchers for Cub, Tiger, Boy and Eagle Scouts and their families, a pregame scout parade, postgame fireworks extravaganza and the opportunity to camp on the field after the game.

Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers is taking reservations for the event.  “The camp out is one of our biggest events of the year,” Rogers said.  “Tent space is limited and we require that people reserve their space ahead of time.  With a parade before the game and a fireworks display after, this year’s camp out is going to be a blast.”

Scouts and their parents can purchase lower reserved seat tickets for $10 (regularly $14) and upper reserved seat tickets for $7 (regularly $9-$11).  In addition to the tickets, the team is offering a pair or discounted food vouchers for the game.  To order the discounted tickets and food vouchers, and to reserve room to camp in the outfield, fans can contact Chris Rogers at (301) 464-4813 or order online at www.BaysoxShop.com.

The Baysox will recognize the scouts during a pregame parade and every participant receives a special participation badge.  After the game, scouts can pitch stake-less tents in the outfield to camp for the night and enjoy a movie on the stadium’s video board.

Baysox Baseball – We’ll Knock Your ‘Sox Off. The Baysox 19th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway.  Parking is free at every Baysox home game and tickets are now available at www.baysox.com or by calling the Baysox box office at (301) 464-4865.
