Stabbing Victim Dies After Crash Into Outdoor Glen Burnie Restaurant. Anne Arundel County police investigated a fatal stabbing in Glen Burnie on Sunday, but they didn’t discover the victim until he crashed his car into an outdoor restaurant table where a family was eating ice cream.”We are all very lucky, basically,” said witness Tim Knight. “It was right there where we were sitting, and (the table) was totally annihilated.”Knight said he was sitting at the table with his two young daughters when a loud crash turned his attention to Ritchie Highway. He said that’s when he saw a green Dodge Magnum station wagon catapult across a grassy median, land on pavement and accelerate into the eating area at about 10:30 p.m.

Boy, 6, Hospitalized After Near Drowning In Pasadena. A 6-year-old boy was rushed to a hospital after a near-drowning in Anne Arundel County.The incident happened Monday afternoon in the 1500 block of Palm Court in the Lakeshore community of Pasadena.Fire officials said family members performed CPR until medics arrived.The boy was taken to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. His condition isn’t known.

Code Red Heat Alerts Issued. Health officials have issued a Code Red heat alert to take effect Monday at noon until Tuesday at 8 p.m.  Health officials recommend drinking plenty of water and staying out of the heat as much as possible.
