Girls Accused Of Stealing Hair, Punching Store Owner. Two teen girls have been charged with robbery and theft after police said they stole hair from a beauty store and punched the store’s owner in the face. Anne Arundel County police were called to AK Beauty in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park around 6 p.m. Tuesday after getting reports of a theft.

10% Of Howard County Infant Deaths Related To Sleep. Health officials hope to help parents understand safe sleeping for infants in an effort to reduce fatalities.More than 10 percent of infant deaths last year in Howard County resulted from unsafe sleeping practices, according to county health officials.County health officials stressed that sleep-related deaths are preventable.”Three out of 10 infant deaths in the last seven to eight months have been from co-sleeping cases,” Howard County Health Officer Dr. Peter Beilenson said.

Libya: No Details On Missing MD Journalist. A senior Libyan official said he has no knowledge about the fate of an American journalist who has been missing for more than nine weeks. Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Kaim told reporters Wednesday that he had no information about Matthew Van Dyke, a freelance journalist from Baltimore.
