The No More Bullies Walk made its way through Maryland on Tuesday night.Once a victim of bullying, George Ewing said he organized the 600-mile walk to raise awareness about the danger of bullying and to save the lives of young children.”What we’re really trying to do is to change the paradigm and get people to talk about bullying, its connection to suicide and how speaking out can really change somebody’s life,” Ewing said.Ewing said he started his journey in Scranton, Pa., and he’ll end the campaign with an anti-bullying rally in Greensboro on May 31.Now on his 180th mile, Ewing quit his job for what he said turned out to be his “life’s mission.”
Animal Kingdom Arrives In Maryland. One horse had already arrived in Maryland on Tuesday, less than two weeks before this year’s Preakness.The presumed favorite and Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom made his way to Cecil County, where he’ll be training.The racetrack at Pimlico will be the next stop for Animal Kingdom, and all eyes will be on the Derby winner as he competes in the second stage of the Triple Crown.Animal Kingdom arrived at the Fair Hill Training Center just before 5:30 p.m.The Kentucky Derby winner traveled the 700 miles from Churchill Downs in a silver trailer with two other horses.
O’Malley Signs 231 Bills Into Law. Gov. Martin O’Malley signed 231 bills into law Tuesday, and it was one of the most controversial bills that drew the biggest crowd.The signed legislation provides an in-state tuition break to undocumented students. 11 News I-Team reporter David Collins said opponents of the measure are collecting signatures to try to overturn the measure on the 2012 election ballot.To qualify for the break, students must have graduated from a Maryland high school and must get an associate’s degree from a community college, provide proof their parents are state taxpayers and show intent of becoming U.S. citizens.

Matt Wieters singled home the winning run with two outs in the 13th inning, part of a stunning comeback that gave the Baltimore Orioles a 7-6 victory against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night.After the Mariners got the go-ahead run in the top of the 13th, the Orioles scored twice in the bottom half against Brandon League, who blew his first save opportunity in 10 chances this season. J.J. Hardy had a home run among his four hits for Baltimore in his first game back from the disabled list. The Orioles, who bounced back from a 4-3 deficit in the eighth, snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 1-17 when trailing after seven innings.
