| May 10, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Third Annual “Nite at the Races” will take place from 7 to 11 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011, at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, 126 West Street, Annapolis, MD 21401.

Join the Volunteer Center For Anne Arundel County in celebrating 10 years of helping people in Anne Arundel County volunteer.

The evening will feature music by “Sparks, Raymond & McCoy”, video horse racing on a large screen, “betting windows” for play-money and prizes, two-hour open bar, fabulous light fare, and silent auction items including sports memorabilia, fine dining packages, and much more. There will be a special live auction Churchill Downs VIP Experience including a Private Suite, Race Named in Your Honor, Trophy Presentation, 3-Night Stay and Airfare for (2).

“Everyone wins at the Volunteer Center’s annual event. Because the Center builds capacity for so many nonprofits, supporting the Volunteer Center is a way to strengthen the safety net for the entire community,” said Barney Hughes, host of the event on behalf of M&T Bank.

Tickets are $55 in advance and $60 at the door.  Help make this event an even bigger success than last year.  For every $1 donated, the Volunteer Center gives back $20.00 in volunteer time to the community.  For more information and tickets, call 410-897-9207 or visit www.VolunteerAnneArundel.org.
