The 2011 Annapolis Irish Festival is to be held on Saturday, July 9 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. We are proud to announce that The Annapolis Irish Festival will benefit Hospice of the Chesapeake! This Festival is rain or shine as we will have huge tents, covered stages, and we will be utilizing an 8000 square foot building and a 9000 square foot canopy!
The Annapolis Irish festival will have something for everyone:
Live Entertainment:
The Fairground’s newly renovated stages will host several popular national and regional groups, including The Screaming Orphans, The Rovers, Icewagon Flu, Seamus Kennedy, Burning Bridget Cleary, James Gallagher and Off The Boat, The Shamrogues, The Chesapeake Caladonian Pipes and Drums, The Culkin School of Irish Dance, Broesler School of Irish dance and more. The vendors offering authentic Irish crafts, foods, clothing and jewelry will bring the flavor of the Emerald Isle here to Annapolis.
Little Leprechaun Land ” Kids Area “
Little Leprechaun Land is an 8000 sq. ft. indoor center which will host a huge kids / family area with many activities, workshops and live stage entertainment. It is important to note that all activities in Leprechaun Land are FREE!
Here the kids will have a chance to blow off some steam, explore the history of Ireland, learn about and play some of the traditional instruments as well as learn a jig or two from the Culkins Irish dancers.

Tickets:
Reduced price tickets go on sale on Friday, May 27th, 2011. Kids 12 and under are free. The cost for the reduced price tickets will be $ 10.00 for the first 500 tickets sold!
