Police Release Suspect’s Name, Charges in McDonald’s Beating. Baltimore County police Sunday night released the name of a suspect involved in an assault that was captured on a cell phone and posted online.Authorities said Teonna Monae Brown, 18, has been charged with one count of first-degree assault and two counts of misdemeanor second-degree assault in the incident at a Rosedale McDonald’s.Brown is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center on $150,000 bond. A 14-year-old girl also faces charges, according to investigators.

Schaefer’s Legacy Seen In Baltimore Skyline. William Donald Schaefer’s legacy is so far-reaching that you can’t go far in Baltimore without seeing what he helped create.Although he’s famously linked to the creation of the Inner Harbor, Schaefer is also credited with changing other landscapes in Baltimore, including the city’s eastern waterfront.”He would dream things up, and he would follow them up, and they would happen,” developer John Paterakis told 11 News I-Team reporter David Collins.

AG Wants ‘Blast’ Pulled From Store Shelves.  Maryland’s attorney general has sent a letter to Pabst Brewing Company asking it to stop production of a beverage called Blast.The malt beverage comes in fruit flavors, and Attorney General Doug Gansler said the packaging and marketing of the drink targets youths and encourages binge drinking.Gansler’s letter was signed by 17 other attorneys general.He referred to the drink as “binge in a can.”

Jeep Plunges In Patapsco River.  Maryland State Police are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in a crash that sent a car plunging into the Patapsco River.Authorities said 27-year-old Jeremiah Joseph Hass, of Southglenn Road in Reisterstown, was heading westbound on Lawndale Road when he lost control of his Jeep Grand Cherokee at Route 91 and Lawndale Road. The car was found in the North Branch Patapsco River at 2 a.m. Sunday.
