Perplexing Prostitution Arrest In Linthicum

From the “Huh?” file, Anne Arundel County Police have released the following mug shot and synopsis of a prostitution arrest of a Hyattsville man woman resident in a Linthicum hotel .

On April 13, 2011, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Vice Unit executed a search and seizure warrant on a hotel room located in the motel/hotel district in Linthicum. The execution of the search warrant was the end result of numerous complaints of prostitution taking place at the hotel. During the execution of the search and seizure warrant, several items associated with prostitution were located in the room to include four cell phones, one computer, prepaid credit card receipts and approximately $915 in U.S. currency. The male subject located in the hotel room was identified as Maurico N. Blanco Rivera, 30, of 1363 Nalley Terrace, Hyattsville, Md. The suspect was charged with Prostitution by Any Means and Assignation by Any Means.
