Baysox Host Spring Egg Hunt

The Bowie Baysox and their lovable mascot, Louie, host the Kids Capital Spring Fling featuring the Spring Egg Hunt Sunday, April 17, as the Baysox take on the Erie SeaWolves at 2:05 p.m.  The spring fling is the first of five monthly events for members of Louie’s Kids Club.

Baysox Community Programs Manager Dana DeFilippo helped Louie plan the events.  “Louie did not want to give up the Spring Fling, his birthday bash or Superhero Night,” DeFilippo said.  “But Louie and I are both super excited to add Swashbuckling Sunday in May and the Ice Cream Social in August.”

The Spring Fling fun starts at noon with registration for the annual Spring Egg Hunt.  Any fan with a ticket for the game may register, but members of Louie’s Kids Club can purchase discounted tickets.  Club members and their families may purchase lower reserved seat tickets for $10 (regularly $14), or upper reserved youth seat tickets for $7 (regularly $9) and upper reserved adult seats for $9 (regularly $11).  Club members also receive a goody bag, a free picture frame to remember the event and a wristband for free rides and games in Louie’s Kids Park throughout the entire game.

Louie kicks off the Spring Egg Hunt at 12:15 p.m.  The eggs are hidden throughout the stadium, with a special area for fans ages five and under.  While the egg hunt is going on, the rides and games in Louie’s Kids Park are free for all fans until 1 p.m.
