The Bowie Baysox announce today the Festa d’Italia Beer Dinner at Prince George’s Stadium, Saturday, April 16, as the Baysox take on the Erie SeaWolves at 6:35 p.m. The event includes a two-hour buffet and three-hour open bar in the climate-controlled Diamond View restaurant.  After the game, fans can enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.

Baysox Community Programs Manager Dana DeFelippo looks forward to the event.  “Our beer dinners are going to be better than ever this year,” DeFilippo said.  “We have a beer dinner with a different theme each month of the season, and the food is always awesome.  Fans can look forward to a Mexican theme in May, an Irish theme in June, American in July, Oktoberfest in August and a Seafood Beach Party in September.”

Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. and food is served from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  The buffet includes chicken parmesan, linguine with white clam sauce, grilled fish, cheesy garlic bread, meatballs, sausage and an antipasto salad station featuring grilled vegetables, assorted cheeses, Italian meats and other goodies.  Beer is served from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., including Peroni and assorted bottles and draft beer.

Tickets for the Festa d’Italia Beer Dinner are $41, or $37 for Baysox ticket plan holders.  To ensure there is enough food for everyone, tickets must be ordered by 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 13.  For more information or to order tickets, fans may call DeFilippo at (301) 464-4855 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (301) 464-4855 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
