Last night at 7:30pm, the “Supermoon” peeked over the eastern horizon. We were stationed at the end of Bembe Beach Road on the beach at the Annapolis Sailing School to capture the rare event. Along with a handful of people the scene was surreal as the pinkish orange orb came over the horizon silhouetting the tankers moving up and down the Chesapeake Bay.

These photos are completely untouched–no photoshop.
