Anne Arundel Police Seek 2 In Marley Station Mall Shooting. Police are looking for two people after a man was shot in the parking lot of Marley Station Mall on Tuesday.WBAL-TV 11 News learned that the 23-year-old victim was shot in the torso shortly before 1 p.m. near a Ruby Tuesday restaurant in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway. Investigators said the man was shot after he was involved in some sort of encounter with several other people.

$650K Multi-Match Ticket Sold In Maryland.  The fourth Multi-Match jackpot ticket of 2011 has been sold. Maryland Lottery officials said a winning ticket worth $650,000 for Monday’s drawing was sold in Lanham. The winning numbers were 3, 11, 14, 26, 28 and 43. The ticket was bought at Wegmans on McHugh Drive.When the winner comes forward, that person will have the option to choose between the $650,000 annuity prize and a $400,000 cash option.In January, a Hagerstown man claimed a $650,000 prize and an anonymous woman claimed a $550,000 winning ticket. Earlier this month, a Rockville couple claimed a $775,000 jackpot prize. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Collectors Caught In Consumer Quagmire. Hundreds of collectors have filed complaints and state attorneys general have taken action against companies over misleading coin and currency ads in the past four years, according to the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland.The BBB has reported receiving more than 300 complaints dealing with concerns over misleading ads, high-pressure sales tactics, an inability to get refunds and difficulty getting the company to stop charging for additional products.

‘Kegasus’ Urges On Preakness Partiers. Preakness organizers have unveiled a new marketing campaign for this year’s second leg of the Triple Crown based on a mascot named “Kegasus” — a half-man, half-horse centaur. Greek mythology buffs know Pegasus was the child of Poseidon and the gorgon Medusa.Preakness organizers looking to return younger fans to the often rowdy infield at Pimlico Race Course said the Kegasus mascot stepped into his man-stall after they organized an event so spectacular it accidentally ripped a hole in the fabric of awesomeness.
