Live Arts Maryland announces the addition of a Saturday afternoon matinee to its line up of “Music Man” performances April 29 and 30 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

The Broadway in Annapolis production includes performances on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at 3 p.m. and an 8 p.m. evening performance.

Friday’s performance includes a Q&A with the cast after the show.  This production is literally “back by popular demand,” as it has been the most requested show by patrons since it was last performed by the Chorale several years ago.

For April’s performances, Live Arts Maryland Music Director J. Ernest Green will conduct a cast of actor/singers, including Tom Magette in the role of “Professor Harold Hill,” members of the Annapolis Youth Chorus, the Annapolis Chorale and the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra. Also featured in “The Music Man” are local high school musicians.

Tickets for all performances are on sale now at the MD Hall Box Office, 410-280-5640 or www.marylandhall.org.
