2 Mega Millions Winning Tickets Sold. Two people are waking up to find themselves millions of dollars richer.The holders of a ticket sold in Idaho and another in Washington state will share the $355 million jackpot from Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, lottery officials said Wednesday.The winning numbers Tuesday were 04, 08, 15, 25, 47 and the Mega Ball was 42. In order to win, players have to hit the first five numbers plus the so-called mega ball. Players who hit the first five numbers without the mega ball win $250,000.

Navy Relieves Controversial Captain Of CommandNavy officials said Tuesday that Captain Owen Honors was relieved of his command of the USS Enterprise while he is being investigated for his production of inappropriate videos as motivational tools.Honors will be on desk-duty while the USS Enterprise embarks on its upcoming mission to Afghanistan, officials said. Capt. Dee Mewbourne has been assigned to take over as commanding officer.

Maryland Mulls Increase In Alcohol Tax. A new study released Tuesday shows an increase in the state alcohol tax would save Maryland millions of dollars and would decrease the number of alcohol-related deaths in the state.Supporters of the tax that will be proposed this session said they want to see a 10 cent per drink tax put in place, but small business owners said it would sink them.”We’re here today to say to the Maryland General Assembly that, just like the tobacco tax increase, alcohol tax increases are good policy and good politics,” said Vincent DeMarco, president of the Maryland Citizens Health Initiative.
