Armed Robbery-Invasion At Davidsonville Assisted Living Center

On January 22, 2011 at approximately 0313 hours, officers responded to the Kris Leigh Assisted Living Center, located in the 3900 block of Birdsville Road, Davidsonville, for a report of a burglary and armed robbery that had just occurred.  Two caretakers at the facility reported that two male suspects, one of which was armed with a handgun, kicked in the day- room door.  The suspects led the caretakers to locations in the facility while demanding to know the location where valuables were stored.

The suspects were unsatisfied with the answers they received and subsequently kicked in the office door to search the area.  Upon not finding what they wanted, the suspects took the caretakers’ personal property before fleeing.  There were no injuries reported.

Numerous officers and a K-9 unit were unable to locate the suspects.  At this time, the suspects are only described as two black males, with no further information.

The investigation remains active and persons with information are requested to call Police Communications at 410.222.8610.  No further information is available at this time.
