In an alarming connection, two teens charged with the murder of a customer in a Glen Burnie pizza shop have also been charged in the murder of a 7 Eleven clerk back in August.
This morning, Anne Arundel County Police and County Executive John R. Leopold announced the arrests.In a prepared statement, Leopold said, “It is disturbing to know that teenagers are capable of such viscous adult crimes. I hope these arrests will help bring closure to to the families mourning Misael Flores and Youssef Attia. I want to thank the detectives who brought these people to justice.”
7 Eleven
On August 9, 2010, police were called to a 7 Eleven in the 7700 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie for a sick or injured subject. They discovered that the store clerk Youssef Kamak Erian Attia, 48, had been shot to death. The video surveillance indicated three males entered the store and announced the robbery and shot Attia as he tried to flee the store. Thepolice department was unable to immediately locate any suspects.
Mr. Wings and Pizza
On November 12, 2010, Misael Abdia Flores, 20, was a customer in the store when 4 males entered the store and announced a robbery. Mr. Flores and a store employee told the suspects to leave and the suspects shot Mr. Flores. He was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center where he later died. Between November 13th and 24, police identified the four suspects and arrested Vincent Ethan Bunner, 17 of Pasadena; Shawn Anthony Johnson, 18, of Glen Burnie; Willie Antonio McLean, 19, of Glen Burnie; and Charles Butler, 17, of Glen Burnie. All four of these suspects have been charged with 1st Degree Murder and are awaiting trial at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
A Connection
Through crime scene analysis, interviews, video surveillance, and the results from several search warrants, Anne Arundel County Detectives learned that two of
the Mr. Wings and Pizza suspects were also involved in the 7 Eleven homicide in August. Yesterday, arrest warrants were secured for Vincent Ethan Bunner and and Shawn Anthony Johnson charging them with additional 1st Degree Murder in the death of Youssef Kamak Erian Attia.
It is important to note that there were four suspects in Mr.Attia’s death. Police have identified a suspect and will not release any additional information in order t not jeopardize the case.

7 Eleven has offered a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest, apprehension and conviction of the killers of Youssef Kamak Erian Attia.
