Christmas Dance Takes Over Columbia Mall. Now, this is getting into the holiday spirit. A mass of revelers dance to “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” at The Mall in Columbia on Wednesday night.

3 Teens Hurt In West Baltimore Shooting. Three teenagers were recovering in a hospital Thursday night after being shot in West Baltimore.Baltimore police said a 14-year-old was shot in the head in the 1000 block of Ashburton Street at about 8 p.m. He was listed in critical condition at an area hospital. A 15- and 17-year-old were also shot and are expected to recover, police said.A homicide unit has been called in to investigate the incident.Police said, so far, there’s no motive for the crime and they have no suspects in custody.

Culprits Adorn Man’s Yard With Stolen Decorations. Baltimore County police are trying to figure out who stole holiday lawn decorations from various homes and planted them in someone else’s yard.The Vogel family in Parkville said they woke up to a surprise Thursday morning. During the night, someone decorated their home and even powered up the decorations.”I was shocked. I didn’t know what to think. My first thought was just that — that someone stole Christmas decorations and put them here,” said homeowner Joe Vogel.

Man Killed While Crossing Route 50. A pedestrian was killed in a car crash Tuesday in Stevensville.Maryland State Police were called to Route 50 at Cox Neck Road at about 6:15 p.m. for reports of a collision.Police said they believe David Naida, 44, of Clinton, Pa., was trying to walk across Route 50 from the center median when he was hit by a car driven by Jerry Johnson, 53, of Salisbury.Officers said Naida was pronounced dead at the scene.
