Ravens Stop Saints’ 6-Game Run With A Win. Ray Rice won’t soon forget the outstanding game he had against the defending Super Bowl champions. Neither will his mother.Rice ran for 153 yards, caught five passes for 80 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Baltimore Ravens over the New Orleans Saints 30-24 on Sunday.”I laid my shoes over there,” Rice said afterward. “I’m going to give them to my mom for Christmas. I’m going to sign them and give them to her on top of her other gifts.”

O’Malley Hosts Forums To Prepare For Second Term.  With weeks left in his first term, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is hosting a series of forums as he shapes his administration’s priorities in his second four years in office.The first of the five “Maryland Forward” forums is being held Monday at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg. The topic for the forum with stakeholders and experts is jobs and the economy.

2 Men Stabbed To Death In Anne Arundel County.  Two men have been stabbed to death and one suspect is in custody, according to Anne Arundel County officials.Roland Michael Long, 39, of 514 Crain Highway, was charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of 43-year-old James Anthony Liberto. Police said the two had been involved in a fight near the McDonald’s at Cromwell Field Shopping Center on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie.

SUV Runs Into Pasadena Liquor Store. Anne Arundel County officials are investigating what caused a driver to crash into the exterior wall of a liquor store on Friday evening. Police said an SUV lost control and crashed into the wall of 177 Liquors shortly before 6 p.m. in the 2900 block of Mountain Road in Pasadena.Fire officials said the vehicle hit a perimeter wall but did not penetrate the building. A building inspector was still requested to respond to assess any structural damage.
