US 50 Reopens After Hazmat Situation.  Route 50 was closed in both directions in the Annapolis area for hours Sunday evening because a hazardous materials situation.Maryland State Police said a chemical being transported by a tanker-truck from New Jersey reacted with water and created a small vapor cloud. 3 Stabbed In Edgewater Street Brawl.  Anne Arundel County officers said three people were stabbed Sunday in a brawl outside a house party in Edgewater.Officers were called to the 400 block of Salisbury Road at about 1 a.m., where authorities said a party escalated into a fight. A juvenile from Annapolis and an adult from Edgewater were treated at a local hospital and released. An adult man from Annapolis was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. according to officials. (NOTE: Eye On Annapolis followed this story yesterday here, here, and here.)

Fight Drives Annapolis Man To Hit Woman With Car. Police in Annapolis arrested a 60-year-old man Saturday after officers said he drove onto a sidewalk and struck a man with whom he had a fight.Juano Queen was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault. He remained held Monday on $300,000 bail.Officers were called shortly after 2 a.m. to the unit block of Clay Street, where police said Queen and another man got into a fight.The victim was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center. The victim’s identity and condition were not released.

Crews Battle 2 Alarm Fire In Glen Burnie.  Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire that broke out Sunday afternoon.The fire started at 12:50 p.m. in the 400 block of McLarin Drive in Glen Burnie.Crews found flames shooting out of the house when they arrived. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no one was hurt.The blaze is still under investigation.
