School Bus Accident In Glen Burnie

UPDATE 5:18PM: From the Glen Burnie Patch, the driver of the car was transported to Shock-Trauma as a precaution. Patch also has photos of the scene.

UPDATE 4:09PM: From the Anne Arundel County Public Schools, there were no students on the bus which was on its way to Marley Elementary to pick up students. A replacement bus was sent by the contractor.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is on the scene of an accident at Furnace Branch Road and Margate Drive in Glen Burnie.

From the scene, there is a school bus on top of a car with one person trapped.  The extent or existence of any injuries is unknown at this point.   More details to follow.
