Jogger Sexually Assaulted In Jessup.  Howard County police are searching for a man believed to have sexually assaulted a woman jogging in Jessup on Saturday night.Police were called to northbound Castleford Drive near Sheffield Court at about 7 p.m. Saturday, where a woman said a man sexually assaulted her.The woman told police that the man pulled her to the ground, threatened her and sexually assaulted her. Police said the woman fought back and struck the man, who fled on foot. The woman then called police.

Campaigning? New Radio Ad Targets Harris. The election is over, but Maryland Rep.-elect Andy Harris has found himself the target of a new campaign.The new campaign on radio and Facebook goes after Harris for complaining about having to wait for his congressional health care coverage to kick in.Harris is a big opponent of government-run health care and ran on a platform of repealing the new health care law.”So what was the first thing Andy Harris did when he got to Washington? Harris complained he isn’t getting his new government health care fast enough,” the ad says. “Say what? Call Andy Harris and tell him to stop whining about his health care and start fighting for ours.”

Physical Therapist Charged With Molesting Patient. The Cecil County Sheriff’s Office said a registered physical therapist has been arrested and charged with molesting one of his patients.Jeffrey Maupin, 49, of North East, was arrested after the daughter of one of his patients videotaped him molesting her bedridden mother, police said.The daughter of the victim told police she installed a video camera in her home after her mother complained Maupin had fondled her breast and groin during medical visits.

DNA Links Man To 1984 Rape.  Montgomery County police have arrested a man in a 1984 rape after a DNA profile linked a man to the crime.Police charged Hubert Allan Marlin, 53, whose last known address was in Michigan, with rape and assault with intent to maim. He was arrested on Sunday and is being held without bond. Police said on Oct. 13, 1984, a woman was walking home from her job at Montgomery Mall when she was approached by a man who beat and raped her.
