Malfunction Causes Natural Gas Leak In Annapolis. Natural gas leaked Sunday from atop a flange located under a manhole cover on a street in Annapolis, utility crews confirmed.Annapolis Fire Department spokesman Tony J. Spencer released a statement updating the situation Sunday afternoon, stating that a Baltimore Gas and Electric crew confirmed the leak at 1601 West St., which was reported earlier in the morning.
