Fire In Eastport Sends One To Hospital

UPDATE 12:43pm: The victim (a 60 year old female) is currently enroute to Bayview Burn Center with burns to the face, hands, and head.

The Annapolis Fire Department is on the scene of a dwelling fire at 112 Eastern Avenue in the Eastport section of the City. The house is located across the street from Horn Point Harbor Marina.

Crews on location indicate that the fire is out; but there is a burn victim and have requested a helicopter from Maryland State Police for transport to a burn center.

According to property records, the 3000 foot 25 year old home is owned by Jean Herndon and Arlene Wells.
