Suspicious Death In Laurel

This morning, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police were called to the 3300 block of Cranberry South in Laurel for a report of a sick or injured subject.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a male victim just off of the roadway. Fire department personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

The victim, Roy Jackson, 41, of the 3300 block of Sudlersville South in Laurel, suffered from apparent trauma to the upper body and detectives from the Major Crimes Section Homicide Unit responded to the scene to assume responsibility for the investigation.
