School Bus Overturns In Arnold

| October 27, 2010 | 1 Comment

UPDATE 2:22pm: No students were on the bus. This bus was a special eduction bus en route to pick up students at Phoenix in Annapolis. The driver was uninjured and the driver’s aide was transported to the hospital for evaluation. A replacement bus is enroute to the school to pick up the 5 students scheduled to ride the bus. The school has contacted parents to notify them and parents wishing to pick up their children can do so, otherwise they will ride the bus when it arrives at the school.

A school bus has overturned on the Route 2 south ramp leading onto Route 50 west. Anne Arundel County Fire Department is reporting two injuries, the extent of which is unknown. The road is currently closed.  The accident occurred just before 2:00pm. We do not know if this is an Anne Arundel County school bus but have an inquiry into the Anne Arundel County Public Schools for clarification. Please check back for updates.
