Transparent Judges? Maybe Not.

Without a doubt, one of the most contested races in the County has been that of the Circuit Court Judges. Two sitting judges are fighting to retain their seats and, like the last election four years ago, another attorney is looking to unseat one of them.

The arguments have been made for either side. Some were successful and other not as compelling.  Earlier today, The No BS Zone published this video in support of the sitting judges along with a bit of commentary.

However, when we went to the campaign site of the Anne Arundel Judges Slate, we were disappointed to see two videos which are apparently only to be viewed by select people. So much for transparency.

Naturally, anyone on this site would like to see what the sitting Judges have to say. But why are they restricting it to only certain people. If voters are to make an informed choice, doesn’t it make sens that this content would be made available to those voters? What is being said in these two videos that someone does not want the general population to hear?

Alison Asti has never tried a single case in her entire career. I am even more perplexed that supposedly conservative pro-life Republicans are pushing her candidacy. Over the years, she’s donated substantial money to some of Maryland’s most liberal Democrats. In fact, she donated $250 to Peter Franchot on December 17, 2008. In turn, she gave an impressive $500 to Dutch Ruppersberger less than one year ago. Better yet, she’s even financially supported the pro-abortion group Harriet’s List.
